The Latest Inogen One Portable Oxygen Concentrator – Inogen One G5

Inogen One G5 Portable Oxygen Concentrator is the newest member, recently added to the Inogen One family of products. Inogen One G5 Portable Concentrator – Overview

The Inogen One G5 portable oxygen concentrator delivers six varied pulse dose oxygen flow settings. To make sure that the users experience oxygen therapy with comfort, this oxygen concentrator provides a stable dose of oxygen into the nasal passage. The Inogen G5 oxygen concentrator has an operational noise level of 38dBA and a lifespan of about 5 years. Additionally, this oxygen concentrator lets you enjoy a restful sleep with the help of its low noise feature.

The Inogen One G5 is an FAA-approved portable oxygen concentrator, which makes it suitable for in-flight use. Make sure to contact the airline beforehand, to assure that you meet the airline requirements while traveling with this portable oxygen concentrator.

Inogen One G5 – Prescription Requirement

Inogen One G5 Portable Oxygen Concentrator – Key Features

Inogen One G5 Oxygen Concentrator – Breath Detection

The Inogen One G5 offers consumers a Breath Detection Alert Mode similar to that of other Inogen One concentrators. When no breath is detected for more than 60 seconds, this option notifies users visually and audibly. Simply press the bell icon on the device’s control panel to enable or disable this feature. As a pulse dose concentrator, the Inogen One G5 can only administer oxygen therapy when the user inhales.

If no breath is detected after 60 seconds, the concentrator enters an auto-pulse mode, which delivers regular intervals of metered oxygen until the next breath is detected. Once the next breath occurs, the concentrator resumes oxygen delivery at the previous setting.

During oxygen therapy, a green LED will indicate that the breath has been detected and oxygen delivered.

This portable oxygen concentrator comes with both AC and DC power cords, allowing users the freedom to plug in anywhere. In the event of external power failure, the battery in the unit will act as a backup power device, providing uninterrupted oxygen therapy. The installed battery will charge while the device is plugged into AC or DC power. An optional external battery charger can be purchased separately.
